The three GCS HPC systems, available for project application with the 19th GCS Large-Scale Call. From left: System JUWELS of JSC (Modular system, first cluster module will be equipped with 2500 nodes featuring dual-socket Intel-Skylake Platinum 8168), SuperMUC of LRZ (IBM System x iDataPlex and Lenovo NeXtScale WCT) and Hazel Hen of HLRS (CRAY XC40).
Copyright: GCSThe 19th call for GCS large-scale projects has been issued. Scientists can apply for computing time on the three GCS HPC Systems installed at the High Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS), the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC), and the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre at Garching near Munich (LRZ), until February 23, 2018, at 17:00hrs. Eligible for "Large Scale" projects, which require in total at least 35 million core-hours per year on the GCS HPC systems, are applications from German universities and publicly funded German research institutions.
For further details on how to apply for computing time, please see here.
The HPC systems of the GCS centres, availble to serve the researchers, are the following:
