Student Cluster Competition at SC17 (Denver, CO)

In 2017, GCS supported a multi institution Bavarian student team, representing

Friedrich-Alexander University, Erlangen-Nuremberg
and
Technical University Munich

which qualified to participate in the Student Cluster Competition (SCC) at SC18 in Denver, Colorado.

GCS proudly continued to serve as a co-sponsor of undergraduate students participating in the Student Cluster Competition (SCC) at the Supercomputing Conference 2017 (SC17) in Denver, Colorado/USA (Nov. 12-17, 2017). Team TUMany segFAUlts (pronounced too many segfaults), a joint six-person team representing the Technische Universität München (TUM) and the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU)--evenly divided between males and females--was the only German participant among the 16 teams taking part in the competition.

More information on team TUManySegFAUlts is available at the SCC website.
