Student Cluster Competition at ISC17

GCS proudly cosponsored FAUboyzz, a team of six undergraduate students from Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) who participated in the Student Cluster Competition (SCC) at the International Supercomputing Conference, ISC17. Team FAUboyzz was one of 12 teams accepted for the three-day challenge, held June 19–22 at ISC17. The multi-disciplinary team consists of students studying computational engineering, computer science and medical engineering at FAU.
GCS-sponsored team FAU Boyzz, six students of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany (FAU), walked away from the Student Cluster Competition (SCC) at ISC17 with the trophy for the coveted SCC High Performance Linpack (HPL) benchmark challenge.
