UNSEEN Project Uses High-Performance Computing to Transform Energy System Modelling

A multi-institution research collaboration has been scaling linear optimization problems to run on supercomputers. Through recent advancements, the collaboration calculated over 11,000 scenarios for the German energy system at unprecedented detail and accuracy, providing deeper insights for policy makers and other stakeholders.
