The three centres that comprise the Gauss Centre for Supercomputing (GCS)—the High Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS), Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC), and Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ)—provide scientists and engineers provide computing resources up to the largest scales on the centres' flagship systems.

Do you need compute time for AI projects? Is your workstation or university cluster too small? Are you considering a project that needs to run at the largest scale? GCS can help. We provide computing resources up to the largest scales on current and upcoming systems in Stuttgart, München and Jülich that have thousands of GPUs available to accelerate your research. Free computing time is available to researchers with affiliations of German universities or research facilities. You only need to write a compute time proposal. The next call for proposal closes on Feb 17. At our info event, we will provide the most important facts and practical guidelines how to successfully apply for compute time, ulttimately giving you the most important tips that can help you slip into the role of a reviewer.
