The three member centres of the Gauss Centre for Supercomputing - the High Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS), the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC), and the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre Garching/Munich - will present their research activities in the field of high-performance computing (HPC) on their respective booths at this year's Supercomputing Conference (SC17), which takes place in Denver, Colorado, USA, from November 12 to 17, 2017:
Apart from showcasing their current research activites, user projects, and presenting the latest scientific findings, for which the HPC systems Hazel Hen (HLRS), JUQUEEN (JSC), and SuperMUC (LRZ) serve(d) as computing platforms, representatives of the three GCS centres have active parts in the conference leg of the convention by hosting workshops, tutorials, and/or birds-of-a-feather events, or acting as speakers in various SC sessions.
Bernd Mohr (JSC) is the first SC chair from outside the U.S.
