Student Cluster Competition at ISC 2021 Digital

GCS supports “The Heidelbears”, a team of six students representing the Heidelberg University participating in the Student Cluster Competition (SCC) at the International Supercomputing Conference (ISC) 2021 Digital. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the SCC will be held as a virtual event, running May 24-June 28, 2021. Team “The Heidelbears” is the only German participant in the group of 13 international teams that qualified for ISC 2021 Digital’s student contest. Competitors come from China, Singapore, Taiwan, South Africa, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

GCS continues its role as proud supporter of student teams participating in the annually recurring student cluster competitions (SCC). At the International Supercomputing Conference (ISC) 2021 – which due to the COVID-19 pandemig has been converted to an online-only event and thus has been renamed to ISC 2021 Digital – the SSC 2021 will also be held as an online contest, running May 24 - June 28, 2021. “The Heidelbears”, representing the Heidelberg University, is the only German team in the field of 13 teams qualified for SSC 2021. Other competitors come from China, Singapore, Taiwan, South Africa, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
